Farewell Holly
Adam learns what it takes to make it in Hollywood.
This film was produced during our holiday between semesters. It was entirely self funded, with a very small crew. Filmed over four days in local council headquarters, the state theatre and private residences.
- Negotiated location agreements with private owners, arts organisations and city councils.
- Arranged the use of a restored, classic Buick Automobile for the film.
- Created the lighting of the film, developing a classic film noir look, focusing on sharp contrast and low key lighting.
- Acted in a management position, providing leadership to the key production team, and collaborating on all tasks within the production.
- Organized and implemented a shooting schedule over four non-consecutive days of filming, in four different locations, including night and studio shoots.
- Responsible for the sound design of the film, recording foley and sourcing additional effects.
- Liased with the Director and Composer to develop and refine the musical themes of the film.
